Delta is an advanced computing and data resource funded by the National Science Foundation through its Advanced Computing Systems & Services program. It blends cutting-edge graphics processors (GPUs) and traditional CPU architectures with forward-looking user interfaces and file systems to shape the future of advanced research computing and data-intensive analysis. Delta will be the most performant GPU resource in the NSF portfolio at its launch and will greatly expand accelerated workloads across many science domains, especially those adopting AI-based computational methods. NCSA also partners with The Science Gateways Community Institute (SGCI) in delivering its vision for a modern computing and data resource that is usable and accessible to the broadest possible community of users. Delta is an advanced computing and data resource supported by the National Science Foundation and made possible through key partnerships with the Science Gateways Community Institute, ACCESS, University of Illinois School of Information Sciences and Disability Resources & Educational Services.
